SUMMARY: TERMS OF SERVICE

eCPD® is a service provider of continuing professional development (CPD) on the Internet for built environment professionals registered in South Africa.

As a built environment professional you may use our service to:

  1. Register as a user by providing your personal and professional registration information. We need this information to enrol you and to eventually issue your CPD certificates.
  2. Enrol in any CPD course once you have paid the relevant fee.
  3. Complete CPD courses before the relevant course expiry date or before the end of your maximum enrolment duration period of three hundred and sixty five (365) days, whichever occurs first.
  4. Claim CPD certificates if you obtain the required pass mark in our online assessment. You may choose and complete any CPD course that is relevant to your profession.
  5. Maintain an online record of your CPD certificates. You can also add the information of CPD certificates obtained from other CPD service providers.

You must however remember that:

  1. It is your responsibility to complete your CPD courses before they expire or before the end of your maximum enrolment period, whichever occurs first. You cannot claim any reduction of our fees in respect of expired CPD courses.
  2. You will receive a limited number of attempts to complete our online assessments. You must make sure you study the learning material before you attempt any assessments since we cannot reverse failed attempts.
  3. You must keep your password secure and ensure that no other person shall use our website to complete courses on your behalf.
  4. Always keep printed or electronic copies of your CPD certificates.
  5. We may change our terms of service as circumstances change. We will always inform you of important changes by email or newsletter, so make sure that your personal information is updated at all times. We will also display our new terms on our website.

This is only a brief explanation of our Terms. Please read the full Terms here.
